Taxi Driver
Had a strong idea from the start here, mainly influenced by the final few frames of Travis’ (imagined?) conversation with Betsy. Unconsciously this is a similar setup to my earlier piece for Paris, Texas featuring that other famous Travis, although whereas the mood for that was melancholy and reflective this is altogether much more stark and visceral.
Originally created with Pencil / Acrylic on board.
Printed A2 size on 250gsm matte paper.
Signed, numbered and shipped in a sturdy, plastic-capped cardboard tube.
Signed and numbered. Limited edition of 100.
